FALL FLING DANCE

MHMS FAMILY TRIVIA NIGHT

Save the date! The 8th Grade Team is hosting a Family Trivia Night on Friday, November 7th from 6-8 in the Cafeteria. This event will be a fundraiser for our 8th grade activities throughout the year, but is not limited to 8th graders. All students and families are welcome! The cost will be $20 for a team of up to 6 people. Students can form teams with their friends or attend with their family, but each team must have at least one adult. The trivia questions will be general knowledge, and there will be prizes! Please stay tuned for more information, and we hope you will join us for a fun family event!

🎉 Hispanic Heritage Spirit Week 🎉 Let’s wrap up Hispanic Heritage Month with a short but spirited celebration! Join us for a week of fun, pride, and community. Here are the themes and dates:

📸 Monday, October 13 – Picture Day Let’s look sharp for those school photos!

🌎 Tuesday, October 14 – Culture or Flag Day Theme: Celebrate your heritage by wearing clothing that reflects your cultural background. Traditional garments, hats, and accessories are all welcome! You can also bring a flag or wear the colors of the country you wish to represent.

🏅 Wednesday, October 15 – Sports Pride Day Theme: Show off your sports spirit by wearing jerseys or gear from athletes or teams you admire—think Lionel Messi, Roberto Clemente, or your favorite national teams in soccer, football, basketball, and more.

🖤💛 Thursday, October 16 – Unity Day (Día de la Unidad) Theme: Let’s come together as one community by wearing Murray Hill’s colors—black and yellow—to show our unity and school pride.
