Dear MHMS Families,

We understand that there are some cases in which students need to return items to MHMS or retrieve CRITICAL items from MHMS, so we have scheduled designated days and times, next week to facilitate picking up and dropping off essential items.

Any family who feels that they need to drop off or pick up an items/items from MHMS, must thoroughly read the parameters associated with drop off/pick up and complete the survey, by using the link below, by 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 4th.  Requests made after the survey closes, or requests made on the date of the designated pick up, will not be honored, as we need to coordinate with multiple staff in order to implement this process.

Drop Off-Guidelines

  • Only students who will not be returning to HCPSS for the 2020-2021 school year, need to return any school borrowed items.  Items to be returned may include borrowed Chromebooks, borrowed school instruments, borrowed assistive technology, textbooks, media center books.
  • If your student will be returning to an HCPSS school for the 2020-2021 school year, once classes resume in school buildings, students will bring their school system property to the HCPSS school they are attending, and it will be collected and redistributed to its original location.

Pick-Up Guidelines

  • Only CRITICAL items such as personal musical instruments, medication, assistive technology can be picked up.  Additionally, any student who was absent, and unable to empty to their hallway locker, prior to the school closing, may retrieve the contents of their locker.

General Guidelines

  • No parents or students will be allowed into the school building.
  • Families will need to remain in their vehicles.  If walking, families must follow social distancing guidelines, and remain 6-feet away from others.
  • Families are strongly encouraged to wear masks.
  • Any family who needs to pick up a CRITICAL ITEM/ITEMS, or needs to drop off an item/items because they will not be returning to an HCPSS school during the 2020-2021 school year, must complete the following survey, by 5:00 p.m. on June 4th.                                                                            https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLScSw1b-2-1s-40O1zCtz2OpcOvJJC95E3AXNgkQazVIZpaZ7w/viewform
