I hope that everyone had a wonderful Spring Break. As we enter into the fourth quarter of the 2018-2019 school year, I encourage all of our students to stay focused and finish strong. I am looking for all students to work to their full potential and show their excellence each day as this school year begins to draw to a close.

We would like to share an invitation with you to join with students, parents/guardians and staff members from other schools in our county to participate in a community circle. A community circle is a space for people to share their stories and perspectives. This circle is focused on healing and is in response to different communities who have been impacted by acts of hate and violence, both nationally and internationally.

Support the the 6th & 7th Grade Walkathon to benefit Howard County Grassroots.

Last weekend’s production of Mary Poppins Jr. was phenomenal! Congratulations to all of the students and staff who dedicated their time and talent to such an outstanding show. Thank you to all of the family members, friends, staff (current and former), and community members for attending our musical production.

It has recently been determined that Murray Hill Middle School will obtain an Acting Assistant Principal for the remainder of the 2018-2019 school year. Beginning this Thursday, March 14th, Jennifer Blasko will assume the role of Acting Assistant Principal.

This message is to address concerns that have been brought to my attention by both students and parents regarding statements and/or social media posts that allegedly have been made pertaining to a threat to our school community.

It is unbelievable that we are already halfway through the 3rd quarter of the 2018-2019 school year. I am proud of our students and the work that they are doing to grow and develop as learners at MHMS. I look forward to our student body finishing off the year strong.
