**Student Emergency Procedure Card Deadline Oct 29th**

The Howard County Public School System (HCPSS) has implemented a new process for parents/guardians to complete Emergency Procedure Card (ER Card) information.

Parents/guardians must complete an ER Card for each student. The deadline to complete this form is October 29th, by 5 p.m. The website will be shut down after 5 p.m.

 

Important information:

Before you can access the Emergency Procedure Card you will need to have/create/activate an Aspen Family Portal Account.  You should have received an email from the school system with a 12 digit authorization key and a link to create a Family Portal Account when your student was registered at HCPSS. Once you have a Family Portal account, you will then log into the emergency card system with the same log in information as you do for the Family Portal.  In addition to that 12 digit code you need your student's 9 digit HCPSS student ID number. If you do not have the 12 digit authorization key or need your password reset you can email our Data Specialist, Kim Eisel, at kim_eisel@hcpss.org and she will email it to you.  We are not allowed by law to give student ID numbers out via email or phone.  According to HCPSS policy, those can only be given out in person.
