RAMADAN

Ramadan begins the evening of February 28.  As Ramadan is a time when some Muslims fast from dawn to sunset as part of their observance, we understand that we may have students not partaking of food or water during the day each day.  In an effort to be supportive to the needs of our students, we will offer an alternative place for students to spend their lunch period if they choose not to join their peers in the cafeteria. Should your student require additional support or accommodations during Ramadan, please contact your student’s counselor or the administration.

MHMS 2025 COOKBOOK

This year, Ms. Bond is compiling a MHMS community cookbook featuring recipes from our staff, students, and community members. If you have an exceptional recipe that you enjoy cooking or one that holds significance to your family, please share it with our MHMS community.  You are welcome to submit multiple recipes. The cookbook will be ready to download or print by the end of May.

Please fill out this google form with your recipe and don't forget to put a picture of your dish or your family making the recipe if you have one.

https://forms.gle/NngkSPqbrhYTJNMT8

If you would like a paper copy to fill out instead of using the link, please have your child stop by the office or Mrs. Bond's class for one.

If you or someone you know in the community has resources that can help us compile or print this cookbook, please let me know. I would love the help or volunteers to help this book come into fruition.

Thank you for taking the time to collaborate with our staff, students and community members. I am excited to see how this can unite teachers, students and our community through their shared passion for food.

If you have any questions, please contact Ms. Bond.

Clothing to Cash will accept items in ALL conditions: new with tags, or torn, stained, worn-out knees, shoes with holes or only one shoe, backpacks, old sheets, towels, blankets, stuffed animals and more.
